This week's UotW (well, not so much a Unit as a Special Character) is Grimgor Ironhide. On the tabletop, Grimgor Ironhide is a mighty character, boasting a large 7 attacks at Strength 7 because of his axe Gitsnik, which lends him 2 Extra Strength to his profile. He also hates everybody, which is passed on to his special unit of Black Orcs, "Da Immortalz", who can have a banner up to 50 points.
{{A note on banners for non-GW nerds! In Warhammer there are special banners that do magic stuff. Each army has its own unique magic banner/s, which can do multiple things such as that of Blood Knights (in Vampire Counts) which gives them a 4+ Ward Save against ranged attacks. This might not mean much to non-GW nerds, but it's important.}}
A suggestion for Da Immortalz' banner is Nogg's Banner of Butchery, which gives everyone in the unit +1 Attack for one turn. This will boost Grimgor's attacks to a mighty 8, allowing him to utterly decimate any enemy units that come near him. He also has magic armour, which grants him a 1+ Armour Save and a 5+ Ward Save.
The only problem about fielding Grimgor Ironhide is that he comes at a hefty 375 points cost, and along with this you have to field his unit of Da Immortalz and units of Black Orcs can usually be trusted to cost about 400 points. You could field him in a 2,000 point game, but it would be pretty much him versus the enemy because of his high points cost. (Although it would be excruciatingly funny to see him tear up all the low-level heroes and units.)
